Full & Part Loads
If you plan to ship the entire contents of a 3-, 4- or 5-bedroom home to the UK, we have a large removal truck, which caters for all types and sizes of moves.
Full load services carry the benefit of delivering your goods all in one go and usually at a faster rate than part load services.
If so, you can reduce shipping costs to Spain by sharing a container with another mover’s belongings.
This is called a part load service where you can have your items delivered at a time convenient to you.
Many of our customers combine this service with our flexible low-rate storage services while they decide what they want to do with their personal effects.
Export Packing & Wrapping
Our expert packing service is specifically designed to ensure all your furniture, possessions and personal effects arrive in the same condition they left.
For an additional cost, Expat Removals can export pack and wrap all items being transported in special breathable bubble wrap, ready for loading onto containers for safe transit overseas.
For bulky or fragile high value items, special wooden creates can be specially made to measure, minimising any potential damage to even your most prized possessions during transit.
Vessel Transit Times
Transit times to the UK vary dependent on which route is used to transport your goods.
Typically, transit times for part load services are anywhere between 7-14 days and direct services are usually 4 to 7 days from the date of the collection.
Customs Clearance
Expat Removals are very experienced and will ensure all the relevant paperwork and customs clearance is processed correctly.
We complete the Transfer of Residency for you and we will manage all the import taxes for you.
Once your belongings have cleared customs, you will be contacted to discuss a convenient time to deliver them if not already agreed.
Documentation
To ship household goods into the UK, we will require the following documents:

Insurance
Despite our best efforts, items can get damaged, move in transit, or go missing from time to time, which are outside of our control.
Expat Removals always try to minimise such problems during the moving process. That’s why we offer limited liability insurance as set out in our terms and conditions.
It is highly recommended that you consider protecting your valuable personal possessions while in transit or storage with our ‘All Risk’ Marine Standard Liability cover.
Marine Insurance Cover is offered to you on receipt of a completed Overseas Valuation Form. Such insurance cover is ‘Comprehensive’ and ‘All Risk’ and is based on the values as declared by you on the Overseas Valuation Form.
